POTW: Prostar's Yves Giard wins Funnybike
Wednesday, October 17, 2007

Canadian Yves Giard took the Funnybike win at the granddaddy of them all, the AMA/Prostar Orient Express U.S. Motorcycle Nationals at Atco Raceway. Giard qualified fifth at 7.11 but opened eyes in the first round when he turned a 6.70 at 208 to get a holeshot win over the 6.67 of class champion Keith Lynn.

Giard ran unopposed in the final when Mike Coulson failed to stage his bike. Giard left before the tree was activated but got the win.

We would tell you more but Giard doesn't speak English. He looked pretty happy though!
