2008 AMA Dragbike Bristol Photo Highlights


Kenneth Edwards scored what we believe to be the first-ever competition win on a Suzuki B-King, winning the Atlanta re-take in Street Fighter.


Gilbert Coranado broke his trusty ZX-10 but took his Coby Adams-prepared ZX14 to a Real Street win.


Farlie Hall became the first-ever ZX-14 rider to win a SuperSport event.


Cameron Teasley gets some merchandising advice from CJ Johnson. We understand the kid is learning some negation skills as well.


Bristol’s veteran announcer Rick Carlson joined AMA Dragbike’s “Radical” Rich Tivitt on the mic.


Mark Paquette had a breakthrough event at Bristol.  Paquette walked out of Bristol with two Funnybike winner’s plaques, getting the Atlanta win on Friday and then winning the Bristol event.


Trae Heath had his rider Lil Curtis McDougald win his second Pro Street win in a row.


Keith Dennis and Brock Davidson continue to wreak havoc on the SuperSport field.  Dennis drove the Quantum Motorsports GSXR1000 not only to his second SuperSport win in a row but the Bristol Street ET win as well.


Mike Lehman made a rare AMA Dragbike appearance count, going to the Top Fuel final.


For the first time ever at an AMA Dragbike event a father and son duo found the winners circle with Tony Baumbach taking the win in the Saturday Pro ET event and his father Andy getting the win on in Sunday Pro ET action.


Michael Phillips is rocking on Dan Vasilik’s Pro Mod, going to the final for Atlanta and winning Bristol.


Nicky Mazeika continues his rampage on the Super Street class on the Playthings GSXR.  In four events Mazieka has been to three finals and has two wins.


Eric from MTC Engineering presents Tom Perry with the Five Second Club plaque.  Tom Perry is now the third person on the planet to run five seconds in the quarter mile.


Cameron Valetti shows off some BMX skills.  Hey kid, there’s a drag race going on!
