MDRA: "Viva Las Vegas" Photo Recap and Winners Circle Report

For the sixth race of MDRA's eight race series we returned to the world class facility known as The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event was smooth and well-paced as MDRA was the host organization, with over 50 bikes entered in nine classes. Track preparation was excellent as usual at The Strip.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The next race is a DOUBLE-POINTS race in Las Vegas Oct. 17-18!!
PHOTO RACE RECAP:
Funnybike class saw Steve Kyllingstad (far lane) add to his winning streak (3 of the last 4 events - including the last 2 in a row) meeting Turbo Joe Boroquez (redlight) in the final.
In Harley Pro Gas Stan Sheppard (near lane) continues his winning ways (2-0 in HPG finals) taking out new MDRA member Danny Harvey.
However, Harvey (far lane) came right back and took the gold in Super Comp against points leader Bill Bentz.
In a double break-out Steve Gold (far lane) beat 2008 Superbike Champion Laverk Harper.
Super Sport saw points leader Karen Wagner (near lane) add yet another plaque to her collection in a double break-out win against Red Collins.
Then in Super Eliminator in what is becoming a regular sight at MDRA events (female vs. female) Victoria Bentz (far lane) faced and beat Karen Wagner in a first round double break-out. Bentz then went on to beat Dustin Vagedes in the final.
In Pro ET Stan Sheppard came back and won his second class of the event beating Darryl Wiltz (pictured) after dialing an 11.75 and running 11.842.
Steve Gold then matched Sheppard's feat with his second win of the event, breaking-out against Allen Princes’ redlight. Then Shaun Spicher took the win in Street ET when Mark "Footz" Dickerson redlit.

Oh yeah...and even after winning 2 classes in 1 event, Steve Gold STILL can't get no respect!! Just kidding Steve!
