Person of the Week : Gregory Allan Westling
Greg was first exposed to motorcycles in the 60's by his brother Ron. In 1982 Greg went to his first drag race and once he saw the bikes racing, he was in love. That next year he got started in drag racing and the rest is history. Since the 80's Greg has been bracket racing various bikes ranging between 15 seconds and 9 seconds.
For 2013 Greg plans to run consistent high 7's on his turbo bike in either Pro Gas or Pro Mod in CMDRA. He would also like to win one or two events in Super Bike and possibly the championship on his bracket bike. He will also be racing at his local track of Medicine Hat and attempting to win the Pro Bike class championship. But his ultimate goal for the year is to bring both bikes home at the end of the season still running, which doesn't happen very often.

#1 is a purpose built dragbike with a Kawasaki engine that I bracket race.
#2 is a turbo charged cartire bike that I run in either Pro Mod or Pro Gas which are both heads up classes.

Accomplishments: 2003 NHRA Division 6 Summitt Series E.T. bike champion and world finalist in Pomona California. 4 time NHRA Wally winner. 2011 finished 3rd in Pro Mod in the CMDRA (Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association).
Interest outside of racing: Fishing,Ten pin bowling and hockey.
