The PMRA presented by Fast By Gast held race #4 of 6 this past Saturday at Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Noble, OK. We saw some great racing under the lights as we tried to beat the July heat.

In the Pro Open class sponsored by Hughes Racing, Shane Eperjesi from Lake Dallas, TX once again dominated and took the #1 qualifying spot and went on to win the race. Kenwone Fulsom out of Collinsville, OK was right there with his 7.115 and a better light but it wasn’t enough to hold off Shane with his 6.738 ET.

Top Gas, sponsored by Fast by Gast saw Larry Eperjesi from Lake Dallas, TX take the win against Charlie Finch from Del City, OK. Larry laid down a great 8.246 to Charlie’s slowing 8.335. Mitch Brown out of Clearwater, KS grabbed the #1 qualifying spot with a 8.221 earlier in the day.

The Mr. Paint Super Comp class saw Dwayne Gaines from OK City, OK nab the #1 qualifying spot with a 8.903 and Dwayne went on to meet up with Eric Vaughan from Cushing, OK in the final round. This was a super close race where both riders had almost identical reaction times off the line. Eric took with the win with a .081 RT and 8.988 against Dwayne’s .080 RT 8.991.

Super Street, sponsored by Ajax Kawasaki, is really gaining in popularity. Tim Howard from OK City, OK took the #1 qualifying spot with a 9.507. The final saw two PMRA veterans battling it out. Wes Goans from Overton Park, KS once again took the win (having just won in June) with a 9.499 against Ray Tonto Johnson, Jr. from OK City, OK 9.469 pass. The points race in Super Street looks like it will be a close one!

In the Super Gas class, sponsored by Wedman Motorsports, Quentin Clark took the #1 qualifying position with a 9.902. In the final, we saw Bob Smith from Valle De Oro, TX on his 04 Hayabusa take the win with a 9.881 against Bruce Calhoun out of Hope, AK on his 84 Ninja with a time of 9.871.

Pro ET saw veteran and 2011 Champion Jon Haney from Wichita, KS take the win on his 99 Honda against John Fitzpatrick from Park City, KS piloting his 95 Suzuki. Jon ran a 9.881 on a 9.87 dial to John’s breakout 9.068 on a 9.08 dial.

Street ET, sponsored by Doleshal Racing Equipment had two great racers battling it out for the win. Rob Whitmire from Norman, OK met up with race #1 Street ET winner, Larry Zientek out of Abilene, TX in the final round. Rob took the win running a 9.827 on a 9.80 dial to Larry’s slowing 9.795 on a 9.58 dial.
