Running in the shadow of NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Andrew Hines, Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate GT Tonglet has been patiently waiting for his day in the sun. His time came actually under the lights, in a rain-delayed final at the NHRA Summit Racing Southern Nationals at Atlanta, where GT took out rookie Chris Rivas for the win. GT set low e.t. of every round en route to his second NHRA win (His first came in 2001 on a Suzuki).  GT also took over the POWERade championship points lead.

On the same day GT’s younger brother LE, won a sportsman event at Hub City Dragway in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Congratulations to GT, LE, Gary and Pam Tonglet, and the Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines Pro Stock Motorcycle team.
