Marcus TyRell Jones is a Drag Racer for the MiRock Superbike Series and the Manufacturers Cup. TyRell owns and races a 2011 ZX10r and he is one of the most dominant drag racers in the sport. West Laurens High School graduate of 2006, he currently works at Walmart Stores Inc. as an Assitant Manager. Living in a small town in Montrose, Ga no one in his family ever drag raced anything. At the age of 15 he started working at the Suzuki of Dublin motorcycle dealer and started going to the track with his Uncle Tony and decided to get his first motorcycle at the age of 17 with was a Suzuki Gsxr-600.

My plans and goals for the 2013 season is to win my first pro race not one several. Last year was my first year running the Mirock Series and I was qualifying in top 5 every race I entered but couldn't seem to get pass the quarter finals. Althought i did eliminate some high competitors alone the way like Rickey Gadson. This year I have left my 2006 Suzuki Gsxr 1000 behind and purchased a 2011 Kawasaki Zx10r to be more competitive. I will be running the 5.60 index, Crazy 8, Pro ET and Top Sportsman but will also try to be the first to get the ZX10r in the 8.30s stock motor no spray.
