I just wanted to knowif any of you know if the shimunder buckets and retainers for the KZ 650 will fit in my 1978 GS750. I have found some for sell and need to know as soon as i can so i know if i should buy themor not.

the buckets are to small in dia but the retainers can be used with the correct springs but you should use titanium retainers if useing big cams as the quality is questionable at best and if one breaks it's major engine damage that could be avoided by spending a little extra cash on one of the most highly stressed and sadly neglected components in the engine

I just got the shims in the mail today. i am going to open the motor this weekend and see if they fit or not. i hope so

I believe the Kaw and Suzuki keepers are different. You woild have to use
the Kaw keepers and retainers.
