Will Bandit 1200 head fit every aspect of the GSXR cylinder block Meaning if I run GSXR cams gears on the camshafts, GSXR cam chain idler gear assembly and valve cover, will the head work on a 1127 bottom end Will the GSXR exhaust head still fit

Rayjay,

as far as I am aware the Bandit 1200 head is a straight fit, try www.old.skoolsuzuki.info (http://www.old.skoolsuzuki.info) for loads of info on compatibility between GSXR's/Bandits etc

The head is a direct bolt on,the difference is in the camchain and camchain related items.

The head is a straight fit, but if you want to run GSXR cams in it, you MUST use the bandit cam gears on them, the bandit uses a different crank and the chain is different.

I do wonder why tho the bandit has a bigger bore, you might get the combustion chamber overlapping the top of the block
