stock BUSA motor. my timing is set at 38. i have ran 110 octane and went 9.20's, switched to 87 and ran 8.90's. im only worried about engine damage? Can i run 87 with the timing set at 38?

if you are still wondering. We just ran a 14/51 with a 145lb rider and he ran 8.75 @146 through all gears.

by the way, i ran that 9.15 with a 14/51. I think the 14is to small, but didnt have the 15 yet. didnt feel like it was pulling at all.

rained out. Oh well, ill try it out in Bristol this weekend. Also, i added some homemade downdrafts to it.

9.15 but clutch was slipping. Gotta add washers to my lockup. Try again tomorrow.

i like the sound of that. i have been launching at 7400, shifting at 10500, .40 kill, and hit 6th gear right at the finish line at 138 mph at 9.24 on average. thanks for all the info guys!!

ive thought may be my problem. had 15 and 46 it kept bogging, so went down in the front to 14 and it ran fine, but i can tell its not right. occasional bogs still. have 3 soft springs in, 3 out, and...

710' at my local track. ran the same numbers at Muncie, IN track at 935'. the bendaboots i have are basically radiator hose also, i dont have the billet.
