TLC has a new show called Rides. The first episode was about the new Ford Cobra (Daisy). Our shop, Roush, assembled the rolling chassis a few months ago and I was asked by my mgr. to help with the final fitment of some parts. Turns out TLC is there and is filming the entire build.

I watched the show last night andsure as s*** I'm on TV.

The best shot of me is where I'mholding a green cooling fan for the starter motor. It was getting really hot from having too much statictiming. The computer guy kept taking more timing out (he thought) and the problem persisted. I asked the engine builder if it was possible they were advancing the timing instead of retarding it. Sure enough, he was going the wrong way.

Score one for the SHOP GUYS.

If I can draw it.... And I can,
    I can build it.
    But can you afford it?
    THAT, is the question.

Go to TLC.com and look for Rides to see pictures.

We are always hiring good people. (not so good ones too). Roushind.com is the site. I think.

Daisy is super wicked. I would like to know more about that motor though. Hot Rod magazine did a big article about the engine in the GT. Pretty Cool

I work on the GT's too. It becomes just another car to work on everyday so we just get numb to the fact we are working on some pretty cool stuff each day.

The new Lightnings are in the shop now and going to be on the road soon with their new powertrains.

The new Mustang Cobra is just about set to be started for the first time too.

Our calibrators are going to have fun with both of those.
