I have a 2000 m2 and do alot of bracket racing. I run a slick, bar, delay box,air shifter with auto shift.I also have nitrous on my bike but do not use it bracket racing.

I run the regular program in St.louis, and alsorun Prostarfrom time to time and have always had a good time. I am sure alot of guys with fast bikes talk behind my back but that does not bother me anymore. There are more good guys than bad in the drag bike communitie.

I have never ran a Harley event due to the fact that I run a box and like it.

It would be nice to see more guys post that ride Harleys and Buells.

I took my 01 fxd to sikeston,mo. last sun, the boys down their had not seen a harley at there track for quite awhile. The final was close almost let a zuke with a bottle around on the big end, after getting way out of it. He was long armed( and a slick ) in the street class and he tied my 159 60" but not my lite. Got the money and headed to Vegas, baby , for some AHDRA action and work as their aint none around home anymore. Don i hope you got the NOS stuff I lost your # after I shipped it out the next day My # still works in Vegas, baby, so i'm sure you would have called by now. Hopefully the old glide has one more in her. That 12 K would sure freshen up the early 01 built motor. And rember ya'll race like a man if you can.

    JB,

The boys down at sikeston have seen me and several other Harleys down there, but you are the only one that has won so far. Won a shootout but I seem to choke in the reg. program.

Don got the nitrous stuff! Nice shirt bye the way. Last time I looked down there I still had the goods but after seeing that shirt I better check again.

    Good luck in Vegas.

Thanks so your the one who's always dead on I heard before i ever got their a buell was killing them in the shootouts, nice going sorry though to hear you run a box. Racing needs riders not computer operators but to each his own keep up the good work on the v-twin.

Dragbike racing needs participants, box or no-box to support great races like sikeston.

I don't agree . I don't belive not learning how to ride is going to put people in the stands, Box racers have in my opinon ruined dragracing. It was the last straw coming after not learing how to keep the front end down and shifting and sliding a clutch lever , there is no respect for dragracers because it's no longer earned. Sure guys running over200mph is another story as is 6 second et's but not a high percentage of racers fit that catagory. I personally would rather lose racing "like a man" than goin the i bought gadgett to get down the track route.
