20, 30, 40 , thanks
no one here can shed some light on this
Well I was hoping youd get more expert response...
but here goes...
depends on when you want to juice it!
The higher gear / rpm you want to hit it at ~ the
more HP you can take.
So lets say (racing) you want to hit it after you shift to 3rd gear...
thats very different from trying to launch with it activated
already...
Anyway......
20 is super safe.....
30 is safe
40 is the ~highest you want to go without doing things like
timing management and race gas etc etc etc
Is this for racing or on the street
Are you using a wet or dry kit

So you'll need to be careful cause if you put to strong of a hit on
the motor, and accidently engage it on the street at a low
RPM...well that might not be good the higher you go....
and I'm talking 40+.......
Other thing you need to be careful of is nitrous wheelies....
As far as what kit.....
if you are only looking for 20-40 range....
I think most people agree that on current fi bikes a dry kit
is perfectly safe and less hassle / complicated.
I would think that would be the way to go.
I would stick to 30 horsepower... 40 might be pushing it too far...
Our Dry Nitrous Kit should work great! Here is a link - http://secure.mycart.net/catalogs/ca...prodid=2339784 &showprevnext=1

Oh and what kind of et and mph gains in the quater mile can i expect from a 30 shot
Up to 3 tenths quicker... Maybe 5 MPH
thats all youd get out of a 30 shotOriginally Posted by Ryan Schnitz
