Hi i just needed to know if any of you know if the shim under buckets and retainers for the KZ 650will fit in my 1978 GS750. i am looking to buy some and found a good deal on some. i needto know as soon as you can let me know so i can get them.
I think the Suzuki are larger OD than Kawasaki,and are commonly used as
"oversize" for head repair on Kawasaki bikes.I know for a fact that the
shim on top "shim" is larger on Suzuki bikes than Kawasaki bikes.

I had got the shim under buckets and the retainers on ebay for $50 lat night. they look very good, not used much at all. so when they get here i will know if they are the right ones or not. and i will find out if you could make them fit. then i will let you people know so if you run into the same problem you could know.
There is no "make them fit",either they fit or not. I believe they will
be like .050" larger in OD,like fall in and rattle around.
I know that. well looks like i will have to what until they get here
