Greg related to me about visiting a bunch of the guys I learned from ,, as I recall it is about the same dates you mentioned Randy
Rich,
To answer your questions. Kawasaki has won PSB championships, Honda has won (Terry Vance), Byron Hines won an NHRA race on a Yamaha but they never raced for a championship. Harley has one championship.
Russ Collins did run Pro Stock for a bit including a stint on a Hondamatic (remember those)...the bike was sold to partners on Long Island and ridden briefly by Don Figgliozzi.
Randy Mason is older than I am but I started at all bike drags before him. My first all bike race was the AMDRA US Nationals on Labor Day weekend 1973.
Randy,
Did you ever run AMDRA or was it just IDBA or Dragbike! racing when you started
Jack,
I didn't see you at E'town...how come You might like to come to E'Town on July 31st. The NETO car and H-D's will be running in conjunction with the Funny Car Reunion. You can really relive the past! Maybe we can find a way to get Pup to come down!

Greg, I didn't stop racing cars (A/MP, B/MP,B/G, and C/G) until 1973-74. If I did run AMDRA it was in a sportman class with my street bike. As you know I ran NMRA, IDBA, Dragbike, and NHRA as a Pro. RandyOriginally Posted by Old Photog
Greg, here’s a little trivia for you. I didn’t own an import bike until 1975. I owned 7-8 HDs before then, depending on whether or not you counted a basket case. Jim McClure (RIP) always said that was the only reason he would even talk to me was because I had owned some Harleys in the past….does that sound like something he would've said I used to hang out with a man by the name of Guy Leaming of Salem County Harley Davison in my early years, Remember him He was running a HD with a snowmoble clutch around then.Edited by: RandyMason
Randy,
I know Guy, visited him about 5 or so years ago with Jim Milsted. We "visited" for about 10 minutes before Guy's wife decided it was time for us to leave so Guy could get back to work...sound familiar
