i have a 78 1075 kz it run strong but cant turn good numbers at the track (8th)mile I was wondering what would be a good gearing setup for this bike It has a 17in back rim with a 190 tire it ha a16/47 on it now and IM around 250 in weight . It has been stretched 7 inches and pulls the from wheel on a hole shot but seems to run out of gear or something. If anyone has any suggestions that willl be great

Down and dirty....go up one on the countershaft and see what happens. Cost effective, faster and easier than pulling the rear wheel. It that's too much, loose 2 teeth on the rear sprocket and try that with the original front sprocket...
