Im into my 1075 project now and need advice on a couple things.First let me tell ya my set up,going with a ape engine kit,it comes with 410 cams and springs,1075 pistons of course,my crank is welded, tranny getting a street cut, suring up the clutch basket, crank studs with girdle mod, engine studs, oringing the block with copper head gasket.I plan on running nitrous thats why Im building it strong.I will ride this bike on the street, and plan to go to the track a bunch also. What carbs should I go with,34's or 36'sWhat would be the best ignition,I have dyna s,but thought I may go with the 2000 or 4000.Any thoughts
I\'ll be right back!

34mm carbs are a better choice for your motor size, for drag racing, than 36mm are.

Stock head to minor ported head - if yes, then 29mm smoothbores are better yet for street / strip. The 1075 willtake a handfull of throttle from 29's at lower rpm than it will 34's.

OK,I'll go with the 34's...I just sold some 29's,I just wanted to get a more modern carb set.Ive heard the rfs do real well on the old kz's.Now what about ignition
I\'ll be right back!

If the Dyna S is working fine, spend the $$$$ on another rear tire. You'll probably need it before long anyway!

If your gonna run NOS ....You might wanna get the dyna 2000 so you can retard the ign. for the NOS when you let out the clutch....Or it might go BOOOM.....

I ran 33 smoothbore Mikuni for ages on my 1135, man they worked good if you could find some. Can't go wrong with Dyna stuff mentioned.

Ran 36mm Mikuni on my 1075 for a long time switched to 38mm trons. Only want big enough for your intake ports. 38mm opening...38carb.match boots as well. start fat then work down to right jet. Think I was 136 if I remember correct on mikuni mains
