750J model head on a GSXR1100

Anyone know exactly how much it increases the compression ratio if you
put a 750J head on an 1052 motor

We have a customer that wants to buy a fully ported J head we have for
his 1100, but he street rides and we don't want to sell him something
that will cause him problems.

guess it would depend on if you guys modded thechambers at all when porting, and if you milled the head suraface at all when you did the work also all depends on what the guy has for deck height and piston CC and base and head gasket. i would assume you guys could simply CC the head and tell him what it is and let him make the call based on the rest of his parts and what his current head cc's

depending on the differance in bore , you could have a killer squish combination

A 88-89 gsxr750 slingshot head (20 cc) will raise the compression 1.5 points compared to a stock B12/gixxer with a 26.5 cc head. As stated prior by other, only the customer knows what has already been done to his engine.Edited by: rajay
