Is there anyone out there that makes a 5 inch wide 60 spoke rim I have been looking around with no luck. I don't need some $1000 part just a clue for a make and or model that has a wider rear wheel I could scavenge.
60 spoke is mostly a aftermarket H-D deal. YEdited by: floored
just counted my old kaw wheel , 40 spokes

stock H-D is 40 Kz is 40 Suzuki is 36 How about Akront, Sun, still a couple hun plus the laceing.Edited by: floored
a WM6 aka 3.5" rim will hold a 5.5" slick .. sun , akront , etc
I found that goodyear sells a pretty skinny tire but it's a pretty hard compound. I have a line on a new wheel so maybe this is all for not. lol

If I don't get the new wheel that's what I'll run. The wheel I have has a drum brake and it's going to be a lot of work to fix it. I'm hoping this new wheel deal comes through.
