intake boots

    i have vm33mm mikuni smoothbores on my 76 kz.the intake boots do not have spigots to sync the carbs.how do i sync them are there other boots out there somewerei have a date with the dyno and would like to get everything working together.
    76kZ frame.raked 1.5*, & gusset work,1200CC.RS34 carbs,ported,1.5mm.over intakes, ,425cams,pods,kerker,backcut trany, billet 2nd,Dyna 2000,coils,ZRX12 rear end,and seat,170 tire,zx9front end.Ont.Can.

    The carbs themselves have vac. ports on them.....Check it out.....

    set them with a wire gauge..Best way ...

    Mark, the dyno won't care if your carbs are a little out of sync. The dyno readings should be at wide open throttle. Look through the bores of the carbs with the throttle wide open and make sure none of the throttle valves are showing.(not while the motor is running!!!) Wire gauge method works well if done carefully. Dar

    There are no vacuum fittings on the VM33 except for the #2 carb which has a fitting for a vacuum actuated petcock. Bench sync; use a 1mm or less wire gauge.

    question : I have the K&N filters for my mik 34's but had to cut into a set of side covers for my 74 Z1A.. will your emgo pod filters allow me to use the stock side covers with out any interference
