I hear there is a problem with one class and it is not the doing of MDRA. What happens when a sponsor pulls out on the day of ther race ? I say don't give the sponsor money or the entry fee back. This is not the first time this "competitor" has pulled some sh*t out of fear or whatever the reason is he is not a great "competitor" in my opinion buit he seems to have alot of excuses not to run certainpeople.Burning bridges all the way nice way to leave MDRA holding the ball.
What happened? Heard there was some protest?

Mark MOORE, NOT MarkTOPOLINSKI from Mark's Cycle Store broke his bike & couldn't race so he loaded up & left. He took his class sponsor money with him! At least that's what I was told. I hope in his frustration in dealing with his breakage it was just forgotten about on his part. To prevent it from happening again I suggest all class sponsorships are paid up a MINIMUM of 2 weeks before the race or they don't get to sponsor. This gives MDRA time to notify racers before the race so they don't waste travel or money. Just my feelings on it. Ray. Edited by: suzukiray
the way I hear it Mark tried other ways to get Fields dis qualified b4 leaving like no wheel weights and measure the bike etc etc ..... seems to me he does not want to race Mike or anyone else that might beat him .
Kind of puts the Organization in a bad place, Because if it was put out or promised before the racethat there was a cash sponsor then it kind of leaves it on thier shoulders to take care of that prize to the riders and to collect from the sponsor. Bummer deal for all including the org.

INTERESTING 4 sure... would seem the guy needs "blackballed" for a few races... beat him down HARD and maybe he'll learn a lesson. A LOT of stalling on the starting line etc can screw one up...or at LEAST PSSSS him off...Playing dirty's not the "way" to do things...but SOMETIMES it's what one has to do....Edited by: 2QK4U

Was he sponsoring the class he RUNS in? If not & he KNOWINGLY left without leaving the class money, WTF Mark? If he was sponsoring the class he runs in it is DEFINITELY a "conflict of interest" issue. Ray.
