Does anyone make heavy duty cylinder studs for GS Suzukis besides APE?

Try ARP, they have a set for the Pro Stock Suzukis. May not all work on a 4 valve though.

    Why not APE??

They have great products and they support motorcycle drag racing

Their studs are great when they are new, torque nice and firm. The second time around they feel "stretchy". Just dont like the feel. I hate to think I have to put new studs in whenever I pull a head off.Maybe its just me being too picky.

Brian, I've been building GS motors for a lot of years & have NEVER had a problem with an APE stud! Are you sure it's not the threads in the cases? I've just never had a stud "stretch" before if it was an APE stud. Not even with 40 pounds of boost! Ray.
    GOD rides a SUZUKI!

Here's the deal.Pulled the head to put a new set of valve springs on.Started putting it back on and when I went to torque the studs they just did'nt have a good "feel". We had another set of studs ,so I put them in. They torqued up nice and firm just as they should.I'm kinda new to motorcycles,so I'm still a little cautious about what I do,try to error on the safe side. I torque a lot of bolts and studs, almost daily. I have developed a pretty good feel for fasteners, these just worry me. On a good note I can't complain about their effectivness. I raised the compression on this to 15:1 and the head gasket looked great with no bypassing.
