Being from Australia im interested in finding out what some of the costs you guys pay to race. I know there are alot of different associations you guys race under, but what do you pay for yor yearly licencing fees? Also what does it cost to race at various events? Also what prize money do you compete for? I know you run sportsmanand pro classes, is there alot of difference in what you pay per class? Im just interested how you guys compare to us downunder.
As a sportsman racer,$60.00 US for yearly membership/licence. 2 ET entries at an AMA race cost $130.00 US. Pro ET purse $1200.00 US.
There are 2 ProET races per event so for $130.0 I get a chance at $2400.00.
Someonewill have toanswer for the other classes, I don't run them.
doctor visit every other year - $250.00
$125.00 a year basic ( ihra,nhra,ama) membership (approx)
$45~$80 to run for $350.00 ,, ormostly-80% pay out bike number createthe pay out.
there are some $80 for $2000.00 races but that is against cars in a box-no box combo
