National Guard coming to Hurricane Alley

Jimmy Hubbard and the National Guard will be in attendance at Hurricane Alley's big two day MOTO FEST event in Houston. Jimmy will be bringing his HAYABUSA to take on the Texas/Louisiana racers in several classes.

<DIV>A big crowd is expected, and we're setting up some match races too. The Texas/Louisiana Drag race scene is getting bigger by the month and the National Guard expects the trip tostrongly support their recruiting efforts there. Joining Jimmy, will be severalsenior oficers in the Texas Guard, looking to have a fun day with the racerswhile mustering the troops.</DIV>

<DIV>Sunday is heavily family oriented, with a Custom Car &amp; bike show and H-E-Buddy, the local mascot of Texas largest supermaket chain, H-E-B. With CRANGE CAMS presenting the TEXAS PROSTOCK ASSOCIATION with theirfour second cars and two days withTeach MCNeil the BMW sponsored STUNT RIDERthere 's plenty to see around the track.</DIV>

After doing alot of traveling these past couple months, Im looking forward to coming to this race and representing with the Smithers Customs National Guard sponsored bike. This is going to be a great weekend and hope everyone can make it out to play. Stop by the pit area and say hi.

Just wanted to say THANKS to everyone for the warm welcome while we were in Houston. Had a blast at the track and meet a few new friends. Even tho the counts were low for the race, you have to thank people like Wayne for hosting, Houston Raceway for providing a great track, and the racer for coming out and playing. We look forward to coming back to Houston for somemore fun racing in the future. The biggest thing i do want to point out is that we all need to keep a strong love for the sport during this hard times for dragracing. Everytime you head to the track offer one of your friends to go and maybe they will get hooked like you and start begging for a ride or even a spot in the trailer for their bike.
