That's a nice bike Piner . I went8:04 162 with a engine ofundetermined size @ 650lbin 2008. Now have completely new engine 1340.Thank"s to the two gentlemen that steppedup big time. Maybe piner will give me a head start.At 650 i need a head startLoL.Edited by: checkerflag

Gwood, nice bike i,ve always liked the stock plastics on a stretched gsxr! It makes for a great pro street look!
defo a nice bike, my father bought one of those in 89 brand new in the same color, still wished he still had it
The above bike we ran 8.80s with a 1216 motor & then 8.40s with the 1340. Not bad for a raked stock frame & lengthened stock swingarm. It WOULD pull the frame to the left though!!! Ray.

Sportyracer i saw your build on here,thats why i started this post.Nice project,looks good,keep the pics coming as you make progress!
This one's taken us to our local track championship in 2009 & 2010, so I've no complaints with it. Runs low-mid 5.60s on motor straight as an arrow and is as comfortable as an old pair of boots.
