I've done the same, if you've bought items from Mcintosh there always packed similar if not better then Checkerflag stated. Some people care , others careless !

Because my engine builder lived 1000 miles away I made a steel frame out of 1.5"shs steel tube. The motor was suspended inside the frame by the engine mounts and had fork lift hooks for loading. On the outside was 3/8 plywood screwed on all sides. Fixed to the wood were aluminum plates. On one side was his address,on the other was my address. All we had to do was unscrew the plates and flip them for the return address.Save re writing the address all the time.

I here what you are saying. Although I have assembled my own engines in the past, I believe in doing what I do well and paying those to do what they do well.Sometimes it's the little things that separate an engine assembler from an engine builder.
