Anyone know Micheal Shankleton from Carleton, MI? He had a GPZ crank listed in the DB.com classifieds section. It was supposed to have been built by GRC and never put in a motor since being re-built. The add was a paypal only, buy-it-now listing for $400.00. On April 8th, 2011 I purchased the crank through paypal. After 5 days of repeated e-mails and phone calls I still had not received a tracking # for the shipment. I finally reached Micheal on the afternoon of April 13th because his girlfriend answered the phone and didn't know of the situation. Mike proceeds to tell me that he had sold the crank locally over the phone almost a week before I purchased it through paypal and that he had not removed his add from the DB.com classifieds. We talked for a few minutes and he told me he was interested in some parts that I had for sale. Mike then told me that he was sorry and that he would get on the computer and send the money back to my paypal account as soon as we ended our conversation. Now he is not responding to e-mails, text messages or phone calls and I have not received the money in my paypal account. Now, anyone who has used paypal knows that it only takes 5 minutes to complete a transaction.
I have filed a claim with paypal and I hope this matter will be cleared-up promptly. I have been racing dragbikes for 23yrs now and I have NEVER done anyone like this. I will give you the part, all you have to do is ask. I am unemployed at the present time and it took me 4 months to save up the extra money for this crank so I can finish the motor for my bike and sell it. I just thought I would let everyone know not to send this guy money for any parts if he puts another listing up. He goes by SHANKSTER52 on the DB.com classifieds. Mike, pay me the money you owe me and this will be deleted immediatley.

Thank you,
