I have been trying to get an old street bike ready to run at the next event and had a few questions. I had heard that a street bike will have to have current registration and insurance paperwork? The bike I have has original 1978 plates and a stack of tags, but it has been non op'd for the last 8 years. Also, for this reason, it is not insured. I don't want to pull off the lights, etc to make it look like a real race bike. Is this going to be an issue?
<DIV>Also, the race exhaust has a nice baffle, but it may be a touch loud. What is the DB rating, or, how is the noise assessed? </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you for your advice. Larry Nelson</DIV>
<DIV>PS. I really want to bring it out just tobeat Turbo Joe's GS1150E. I have a little GS1000E, so it should be close....hehe.....</DIV>

Hey Larry, You don't have to Need all that stuff man. And I am sure as long as there is a baffle you will be fine. We will be there too.
