I have a 1980 XS1100 that im building a turbo kit for. Just picked up a HSR42 carb for a great price so im ready to start putting the bike together.

There were a couple great threads on here before the change, but it seems like they've all disappeared.
I need help for some base settings, then I can tune it from there.

The bikes motor is completely stock. 9.2:1 compression.
Garrett T25 turbo, want to run around 10lbs of boost becuase I'll be running 91 octane.

Let me know what you guys think.
    Thanks.

Yes, I really just need to know what main jet to run. I was thinking somewhere around 200. I know we won't hit the tune perfectly right off the bat. Just need a starting point.

The main reason you are not getting replys is a turbo fuel curve is not like a NA one. The reason for auxillary jetting like "thunder jet" added to the carb. This gives an easy to reach additional jetting. Basic idea is if you have a NA engine "pulling" on a carb it takes so much jet. Then the additional draw added by the turbo draws that much more.

This type thing can also need a fuel pump just to keep the bowl full. Using say S&S carbs has thunder jets and can get very close to the area of the float valve hole.

I will have a look in my HSR45 it's a Hahn racecraft kit with a Rajay. My bike is a gsxr1100 so I'm not sure if it will be of any help for you.

I will be running the same carb set up but mine is coming from Mr.Turbo. You will have to run a fuel pump at around 5PSI
