I need to replace the seals in one side of the forks on my DB. It is a PMFR front end and I have ordered the rebuild kit. Is there any special do's or don'ts? What kind of oil? How much oil? Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Ask PMFR they will know. Good customer sevice!
I just did a Trac upside down and they gave me the viscosity and capacity.
I would do both sides while it's apart. Cuz if I didn't the other side would leak immediately after assembly.

Shot John an email. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon. It can't be all that bad but on the other hand I like to kinda have a heads up before tackling something I haven't done before, especially when it's on the front end of a bike that I'm putting my kid on. Thanks for your reply!

Just carefully lay everything out in order upon disassembly.
You might need a fork seal driver to put the seals in.
I got a 2 piece one from Summit (Pit Posse Tools).
If you call PMFR they will tell you and then you don't have to hope John gets back to you.
He may be busy building VIPER Pro Stock Motorcycle chassis.
