In an interesting turn of events, the new CMDRA directors have made a decision to sensor their facebook and Website forum. The little know fact that the forum administrators have not only removed the CMDRA 15+ year history of accomplishments from years prior. They have also been picking and choosing who is capable of joining and posting information on their website. This kind of closed door policy is a direct reflection of the downward spiral this organization has been headed towards.
As a member of the CMDRA for the past 6 years and dumping unimaginable amounts of money into racing with them, I and a large amount of TF Canadian racers are disgusted.
As with every organization there are always issues that need to brought to the forefront and it seems these new set of directors feel that the public and or racers need not know or have say in the future of our sport.
This CMDRA organization was started by racers for racers and has always been transparent. Why is this now different? In my knowledgeable opinion it is due to the fact that the newly appointed Executive director has for years been trying to purchase this for non-profit organization for his own personal gain and has now taken steps to drive it towards a demise which will then open the door for this.
