The name of the topic is "man cup"
Do you have to wear a "man cup" to run at the "man cup"?
What do the ladies wear?
So many ways of doing things in the States and so many different rules.
When I rode in an AMA event I would have been covered by my ACU licence (British) but opted to take out membership of the AMA because it was cheaper than obtaining insurance through the ACU.
Now that the old AMA series is run by the Manufacturers cup people where all sanctions licences are accepted, I have to take out private insurance as the ACU do not recognise the Manufacturers Cup series rules, my head aches.
In order to have non NHRA licensed racers allowed on the track, I decided to become an ASO which allows my License to work at NHDRO events. We must sell our license at $15 so I figured we would throw a shirt in to help the racers out. See you in INDY....
I won't make Indy this year as it was anounced to late to fit in with my schedule.
I have been offered a ride next year so will have to start saving for the extra $15
I do hope the event is a success and is on the cards for next year.
I'm thinking about coming, but I probably won't have anyone to crew for me. Are people pretty good about helping with starting the bike and maybe getting a push back? I'm thinking of running in Pro ET and if my bike is fast enough, Top Gas. I haven't had the new bike on the 1/4 yet so I'm not sure it'll run the number.
Most everyone at Manufactures Cup and NHDRO races have always been friendly and helpful to us. We couldn't have survived if they hadn't!
I'll second that.
Does anyone know what vendors will be filling nitrous bottles at the upcoming NHDRO/Manufactures cup race at Indy?
