What a Class A facility!!!
The absolutely best surface I have ever raced on!!! I'm talking smoooooth!! Hookin!!!! Fast!! Great shutdown, Great pits, Great people!
60' times varied by .001 between the lanes!! Never in my life have I seen such equality front to back! Did I mention smooooooth?? Wow!
If you have never been to this place - put it on your bucket list!
I'm going back every chance I get!!!!
And to top it off gomadman_1991 won the race!

One race left for us points racers Aug 25th. All are welcome.
There is also a bracket race on Sept. 15th I just noticed on the schedule. Was after our points series ended so I did not see it before.

If Orangeburg Dragway is as good as gomadman_1991 says it is, I wish there was a track like that around here. The local track here, you never know what traction is going to be and there is a severe bump right after u get into 3rd gear, if you hit the bump right, you end up banging againt the rev limiter momentarily, a few races have been lost due to the bump. The track management doesn't see it as a problem as the car guys don't complain.
Glad you could make it this weekend. Paul and Don came down last near to play with us. Unfortunately it netted one of Paul signature articles on dragbike.com about safety and how not to launch a bike. Both Don and Paul also had good things to say about the track and the personnel. The wife and I plan to make the Wally race on August 18th in ATL and bring a few people with us so we'll return the visit.
Hope you can get Dave, Paul and Don to come down to OB the next time.
It IS that good JT. I'm on it for 7+ seconds at a time and have plenty of time to see and feel every little flaw in the suface on my 240lb bike. There are none to speak of.
Anyone who has never been to this track......needs to put this race on their schedule!!
This track has the best surface, nicest people (they actually come to you - to tech in!!!)
and overall great experience of any track I know of, and I've been to quite a few over the last 20 years!
Come on out and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
