The details were finally ironed out and the Red Cross Race will take place, September 14, 2012 at Greer Dragway, Greer, SC
In addition, TOP FUEL HARLEYS will be making some LOUD and FAST passes!
Those of you that have attended in the past know what a great 1/8th mile track surface awaits at Greer and we hope you'll come out for the event. All proceeds go to support the local Red Cross.
Classes are the same as in past years and entry fees are in addition to the gate cost. Gate fee is $15 - 10 and under Free.
Classes are
ET1 (0 to 6.50) $35 entry - 1st $450 - 2nd $300
ET2 (0 to 7.50) $25 entry - 1st $250 - 2nd $100
Street Elimination (7.51 and up) $15 entry - 1st $150 - 2nd $75
Kick N' Go - $10 entry - winner takes all!
Minimum 8 entries per class for full payout - 6.99 and under full leathers - ALL racers must wear leather jacket, gloves & helmets.
Gates open at 3 pm - practice at 5 pm and eliminations at 7 pm...there is a curfew, so the event moves at a good pace for racers and spectators.
Additionally, on Sept. 29th there will be a Poker Run and winner gets $5,000 for best hand! Traditionally the Poker Run was on the Saturday following the Drag race but there were some conflicts. It may work out better that way, so if you'd like to take a shot at winning some big bucks and help out a good cause, attend both events! You'll have a blast!

There you go, guys. Gonna be a busy schedule with the Summit Points races and the NOPI race!! I'm going to try my best to make all of it.
Hope you can make it....you've become a regular at that event and it would be a shame for you to miss this one!

Definitely a worth while race!! Great track, lots of fun and lots of spectators!
Maybe we can get Debbie to blow the dust off one of her bikes this year!!

Ed, you can use my leathers but for you they will be a little short in the pants leg and sleeve along with way to big in the crotch! LOL
