Has anyone used the Daytona Sensors NC2 Progressive nitrous controller? It looks like it has some really nice features at a reasonable price.
I am leaning towards switching out my NOS brand progressive controller on my Top Gas bike but I am looking for feedback on the Daytona Sensors controller before I buy it.
It is a very nice unit. We have it on a few bikes out of here. Records some data also. Biggest drawback for some is having to usa a computer to view and change anything.
Highly recommended...lots of features, great price and relatively easy to mount and use.
Thank you for your feedback and input. I already have a laptop that I use at the track so I am not so worried about needing it to change settings.
The owners manual for the NC2 states that they do not recommend using a wide open throttle switch. They would rather see a thottle position sensor activate the controller. I wonder why? Are you guys using a wide open throttle switch or?
I use the wots.....
not a problem.
I've had the NC-2 on my bike since April, been using it as a data logger and this weekend I am finally going to hook up the nitrous to it. I have the NOS Powershot Solenoids and I was wonder what frequency I should run, 15Hz, 20Hz, 25Hz or higher? Should I run RPM window or Vehicle Speed Window? Time based or RPM based ramp? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
15 hz. is the majic number
I been using nc2 for a year with no problems. At first it was some what hard to get used to but I got it under control now...I use the time base insted of rpm. time base seems more consistant.
