Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The legendary Jay ‘Pee Wee’ Gleason has passed away this weekend. We don’t have all the details yet, but will update this page once we do.

In the ’80s Jay was THE MAN to hire if you wanted to know just how fast your bike was in the quarter mile.

Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

God Speed Jay!

Back in those days, you knew if Pee Wee rode a bike in the quarter, it was the best time that could possibly be wrung out of it. The time he achieved stood as gospel. He was THE hired gun for the various manufacturers whose sales and bragging rights depended on his skills. He delivered for them, each year jockeying the newest, latest production superbike king, and along with it untold commercial success for each brand du jour, but ultimately, for all performance motorcycles.
