MR-ROCK
Mickey Thompson 60"
Pro Sportbike class

There is a new class
that is sweeping the nation, and it's called the Mickey Thompson
60" Pro Sportbike class. It's got more talent in it than American
idol! ROCK & MIR promoters have decided to change the Mickey
Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike class permanently to a 32 bike field.
The class could be very well looking at 30+ bikes per event
trying to qualify, and ROCK & MIR promoters want everyone to
be able to race. This change will be for the entire 2003 season
and will go in effect on May 10-11 at Rockingham Dragway for
the rescheduled date.
The 60" class was
started at Maryland International Raceway in 2001, and after
it's first year Steve Earwood from Rockingham Dragway decided
he wanted a piece of the action also. In 2002, the class then
moved to an 8 race series between ROCK & MIR. Since then the
participation and interest for the class has grown substantially!
It has every single message forum on the internet buzzing! Speed
Shops across the country are building bikes to compete in the
class for bragging rights. Privateers are making investments
in their 60" bikes, and it has become the most talked about
class in the sport of motorcycle drag racing. So, stay tuned
this season for some of the best motorcycle drag racing action
around, the Mickey Thompson 60" Pro Sportbike class, now a 32
bike field!!!
