Willis Racing Dominates at 1st Annual Mr. B's Soul Brothers
Race

Willis Racings'
Janie Palm and Charles Willis traveled from St. Louis to Kansas
City over the Father's Day weekend to race in the 1st Annual
Mr. B's Soul Brothers Race at Kansas City International Raceway.
Dominating the bike classes, Janie Palm took home two first
place trophies and Charles Willis grabs a second and third
place.
Janie
claimed victory on her 2000 Kawasaki ZX6R in the in the Bike
Trophy Bracket class by defeating her competition, Nelson
Taylor III riding a Kawasaki ZX9R, another St. Louis racer.
Janie with a 10.87 dial to Nelson's 10.45 dial, cut the tree
down with a .520 light and Nelson took chase but couldn't
catch her at the line.
Janie then went
on to race Charles Willis on his 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa in the
Bike Bracket class final. Janie dialed a 10.87 to Charles'
9.55 dial, again Janie cut the tree down with a .519 light
to Charles's .593 light. Charles just couldn't catch her at
the line, giving Janie the victory. "I was thrilled to
have the opportunity to race against some of my fellow St.
Louis racers" Palm said. "I was excited to race
Charles in the final, we were representing St. Louis and it
brought my competition win/loss record for the season up to
1 and 1 against him." Charles had taken a win from Janie
at their home track in St. Louis a few weeks back and Janie
was hungry for a victory over him.
Charles also claimed
a third place finish in the 9.20 Heads Up Bike class with
his Gatlin Racing built, 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa. "We finally
had a weekend of good weather in Missouri and had a great
day of racing" Willis said. "The resurfaced track
is a great improvement and we look forward to racing here
again in the future."
Willis
Racing would like to thank their sponsors for all the support
throughout the racing season!
