Adam Spitaliere was the big winner at the Del's Wheelie Championships
6 at Englishtown Raceway Park. Spitaliere took top honors in the
Wheelie Contest and Freestyle Arena Challenge as well as placing
second in the Burnout Competition. At the Del's Wheelie
Championships 5 Spitaliere crashed when he bit it on a handlebar
rolling stoppie. He
repaired his ZX-9R and came back in striking fashion with the double
win.
"It feels great," said Spitaliere. "To have a
wipeout the last time and this time go back with three trophies?
You can't beat that!"

The event featured an appearance by Wink 1100 and the Ruff Ryders.
Wink performed exhibitions served as judge for the Wheelie Contest and
Freestyle Arena Challenge and also placed first in the burnout
contest, doing donuts, weaving through the award area and pulling a
full-throttle smoker down the Raceway Park quarter mile.
