Marcus Wadley
"The Outlaw Kid"

Marcus Wadley, a high school drag racer in Springtown, Texas decided that this last summer that he was going to do something for someone else. So He did. Marcus had gotten a flyer given to him at a local car show that gave him the idea. Marcus while racing around at the local tracks and various others he raised money for Trenton Tidwell who is a 5 year old boy from The Colony diagnosed with Burkitts Leukemia/Lymphona. Marcus collected money at Texas Raceway at a Pro Mod Race where the fans and the racers were very generous with their donations. Marcus and his family traveled to the Texas Shoot Out in Houston where he raised money from the racers and fans. At the Bill Heilscher memorial race at Texas Raceway he sold cotton candy and did not race that weekend, hoping to raise additional money. Marcus worked extremely hard in raising the money he could for Trenton. "I would like to give a special thanks to Matt Jones and his family for their generous donation and all the racers and fans that helped me raise Over $4000.00" said Marcus Wadley The update is that Trenton has now home and recoverying very well and starting back to school. Marcus is sponsored by D & C Racing Fuels, Crashworkz Paint & Body in Krum, Texas and his parents
