Ray Price
Racing Update
I've received so
many e mails in the last few weeks about Ray Price Racing,
that I thought I'd send out a just an update on how things
are doing.
Ray continues to
slowly improve and is maintaining a rigorous physical therapy
schedule.
The team was featured
at the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Party at Summerfest
Park. Price and team fired the bike 2 times a day, sending
Nitro fumes and big noise across the Lake to the delight of
thousands of Harley-Davidson fans.
Ray Price Racing
went last week to Rockingham for testing. All went well.
Ray was honored
with multiple mentions and pictures in a great new book edited
by Ed Youngblood, Heroes of Harley-Davidson. The book is to
serve as "The Official Exhibit Catalog" for the
current exhibition at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in
Pickerington, OH. Please check it out on www.motorcyclemuseum.org
The exhibition will be open until Jan. 2005 and drag racing
is well represented.
This weekend in
Raleigh, Ray Price Harley-Davidson is celebrating Ray's birthday
(YES, we know it's in June, but he was undergoing intensive
rehab and wasn't up to a festive occasional on his REAL birthday).
An all day party starting at 2 pm with vendors, custom bike
show, Harley-Davidson Fashion Show and more will continue
into the night with a huge concert featuring Travis Tritt
and Montgomery Gentry at AllTel Pavilion on the Mountain Dew
Midway
Oct. 4 and 5th,
the race team will be in Rockingham for the AHDRA race.
More to come soon.
