It was a Great fall foliage day in New Hampshire as the Finals weekend Mike Shea Motorsports TopBike Challenge got underway. The points championship was up for grabs as 2 time champ Al "Munchkin" Desrochers led the way followed by 1999 champ Roy Resendes and 87/88 champ Ed Hughes.
 
Some of the highlights...... We saw the HD of Mary Jane Dillingham put out the leader Al "Munchkin" Desrochers. www.FloridaSunset.net sponsored Ed Doherty stepped it up but broke out with a 8.82 @ 153 mph against Tom Fanjoy. Roy Resendes couldn't make the call 1st round with an engine failure. In the finals it was Canada's Jeff Foreman making up for his previous loss by beating Ed Hughes.This gave Ed Hughes the 2003 Topbike Challenge championship.
 
Ed will receive track championship $$$, a big trophy, $500 certificate from Vanson leathers, $1000 2-week vacation from www.FloridaSunset.net Dyno time from Fredie Klies at Eastern Cycle Performance, $100 certificate from MRE Thanks for another great season and see you next year.
