Dave
Beck Racing Prepare for 2004
Dave Beck is already
well-advanced with preparations for his 2004 Pro Stock campaign,
seeking to win a seventh ACU title, and also targeting an
assault on at least one FIM Championship round.
Two brand-new 1640cc engines are ready for 2004, featuring
state of the art cylinder heads by Roger Upperton. In addition,
chassis modifications are almost complete, including a new
carbon/kevlar TL1000 body kit and a complete new Kosman front
end. Hopes are high that the new motors will see Dave improve
on his current European et and speed records, with low 7.2s
being the aim.
The search for main and associate sponsors is well underway
with discussions taking place with a number of major corporations.
In addition to full season sponsors, event-specific packages
are being discussed for the FIM rounds. Any potential sponsors

Dave leaves for the two Prostar rounds at Gainesville on the
11th, seeking to consolidate his season best 6.8 second performance
and make an impact on the eliminations. News on the 2004 Prostar
