2 Wheel Extreme

The 2 Wheel Xtreme Machine
Shootout & Custom Show" 2003

Thank you to all that attended this "triple threat event"! Moreover, many thanks to the Management Staff from the California Speedway, Safety Crews and the NHRA, specifically Jan Desma.

Much thanks to the great vendors we had at the event. We all braved this "debut" event at the California Speedway. It is not whether it was a win or loss, moreso that this "triple threat event" did roll and finished well with the finals for the WEB CAM Racing Cams "KING of the CALI STREETS"!

The event fielded 51 drag racers. 48 of which were competitive that included the likes of Ray Goshorn, Steve Gold, Joe Silva, Cathy Silva, John Garman, Red Collins & Oscar Smith to briefly name a few. A special shout out to Roy Sears for putting on a great exhibition. Roy rolled out an 8.080 during his runs! Hang in there Roy. We plan on adding your category for the next event!

The following are the WINNERS of our event categories:

CRUISER E/T - Richard Cruz Jr. of FRESNO, CA

STREET E/T - Joe Silva of SAN MARCOS, CA

PRO E/T - John Legardy of HAWTHORNE, CA

SUPER GAS - Mark Harris of INGLEWOOD, CA

SUPER COMP - Don Tanklage of HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA

CONGRATULATIONS to The WEB CAM Racing Cams "KING of the CALI STREETS"
WINNER & recipient of the $1,000.00 prize: Joe Silva of SAN MARCOS, CA!

We thank the showing by these racers that included several #1 plate holders and champions fron the NHRA SUMMIT RACING SERIES and the NMRA. We asked for you to "Bring it down & Bring it on" and you did! Let's have even more bikes and FUN the next time.

The event also featured the crazy freestyle stunt riders from the Psycho Stunnas; George, Jewboy, Paulie & Randy in alpha order. With them, their friend Jamal from the Gzer Tribe. They did their stunts, blew-up bikes and
tires. May they and their machines roll very soon!

In the midway we also had a custom motorcycle show. We had a showing of 13 machines that included a 1969 Triumph, very clean 1989 Yamaha YSR-50 road race machine, "sleeper" 2003 GSXR-1000, the "show stopper" 2002 Suzuki GSXR-1000 in tribal garb, a clean 2001 Harley Davidson FXDWG and a V-8 powered Boss Hoss motorcycle. For those that are accustomed to short shows.

Our format is different and we Thank You for your patience!

In a few sets, Fontana's own FATES UNION rocked the midway with original music such as "The Mirror" and "Life is Pain" (dedicated to those that stunt). They also rolled-out older rock tunes such as "Hell Bent for
Leather", "Fuel Medley", "(Want to)Be My Lover" and "Fight for Your Right to Party". FATES UNION beyond the music also lent various talents to this event. BIG THANKS!

Many seemed to be worried about the weather. The event was blessed and we thank the man-in-charge. Fontana had some low clouds. Parting later in the day to high clouds and temperatures in the upper 60's. The evening cooled off with nice skies. Perfect "leather weather"!

Thank You All!

Sincerely,

Event Staff
