It was the first race of 2000, and the first race of the new partnership between the longest runnng series on the west coast, NMRA, and the worlds largest motorcycle drag race sanction, Prostar. The series is now called NMRA/Prostar, instead of the Prostar West Coast Tour. Talk about the right choice... the west coast has not seen this kind of excitement in recent history!!!
