Episode 10 / Part 1 – Gixzilla vs. Drag Strip
“When pigs fly!”
“When hell freezes over!”
“When monkey’s fly out of my butt!!”
IT’s TIME! We are FINALLY headed to the drag strip with Gixzilla. Brock puts the final prep on Gixzilla, loads her into the trailer and heads to the most precise acceleration measuring device known to racers… the drag strip. Also known as “the lie detector”. The BS stops when the green light drops. Bench racing tends to quiet down when REAL numbers flash on the scoreboard. You may not agree with the combination Brock uses, and that’s fine. The scoreboards tell the true story. Think you are fast? Wonder if you are fast? Brock invites you to head out to your local track and make some passes, as drag racing results allow anyone in the world to speak the same language.
Brock has enlisted the help of his longtime friend, Mike Davis, from Columbus, OH. Mike is a talented local racer who has never competed in a professional drag racing class. Mike is not a ‘flyweight’ jockey. Brock considers him a ‘regular sized’ guy, maybe even slightly heavier than regular at 205 lbs. (92.8 kg), suited with helmet, as measured at the beginning of the evening’s Test and Tune Session at Kil-Kare Dragway in Xenia, OH.
We hope you enjoy 2017 GSX-R1000 S2B: Episode 10 (P1) – Gixzilla vs. Drag Strip
