NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Pacific Division was in action with a doubleheader event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dave Wheeler and Tom Medlin both took wins.
Sunday Eliminations
Winner – Dave Wheeler, Murray, Utah, ’06 Zx14, 8.956, 144.78
Runner-up – Tom Patterson, Tucson, Ariz., ’92 Zx-11, 9.058, 143.83
Wheeler takes the win over Tom Patterson for his 5th career Wally win!Â
“Well the old ZX-14 finally started keeping the front end on the ground, and the operator was able to get it together and cut some lights,” said Wheeler. “I Had a fantastic weekend and was lucky enough to make it to the winner’s circle”
