ADRL Heads Toward Its Final Stop
Amid a fantastic competitive atmosphere and races that kept everyone on edge until the final moments, the Qatar Racing Club’s dedicated drag racing strip hosted the conclusion of the fifth and penultimate round of the 2026 Arabian Drag Racing League. The championship is held under the gracious patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Club, and was attended and followed by His Excellency Sheikh Jabor bin Khalid Al Thani, Director General of the Club.

This round represented the final stop for the Pro Mod category, as competition in this class is limited to five rounds due to the competitors’ commitments to the American NHRA Championship, which will begin on the fifth of next month. Meanwhile, the battle in the remaining ten categories of the championship will continue into the sixth round next week.
Mirroring Atat’s four titles, Yousuf Al-Ali secured his fourth victory of the season in the Super Street Pro category at the expense of his rival Jaber Al-Maghribi, who recorded his fifth consecutive podium finish of the season by placing second. Mohammed Al-Dashti achieved his first podium finish by taking third place.

The final race of the most powerful Bike category was a repeat of the second-round final, once again bringing together Mishaal Al-Sabr and Mohammed Al-Awad. This marked the fourth consecutive time that Al-Sabr reached the final in this category, and this time he succeeded in claiming his first title of the season, leaving second place to Al-Awad. Meanwhile, the winner of the previous two rounds, Christopher Garner, finished third in this round.
Mohammed Bourashed returned to winning ways, recording his second victory of the season in the Super Street Bike category after defeating third-round winner Badr bin Eidan in the final race. In his first participation, Fadi Abu Jammous delivered an impressive performance by finishing third.
As for the final bike category, it witnessed a fourth consecutive title for Mustafa Al-Mahmoudi, while Mohammed Al-Salem and Abdullah Al-Ansari finished second and third respectively.
