It’s a sure sign of the fall season as
eager racers and fans gear up for AHDRA’s final East Coast appearance
on October 15th and 16th at Rockingham Dragway.

Known as “The Rock,” the famed dragway
is high on the list of favorites for racers and fans alike.
“It’s an icon in the drag racing sport,” said AHDRA President
Craig Tharpe.

“Twelve national records were set there
at last year’s event, and racers love a fast track,” he added.

For the fans, the weekend camping at Rockingham
Dragway makes for a full three days of racing, cookouts, and plenty of partying.
On Saturday night, North Carolina’s Five 2 One Band will entertain the
crowd until midnight.

In addition to the ample supply of racing and
partying, fans can get an up-close look at the machines and the racers who pilot
them. A huge array of vendors will be on hand as well, along with noted bike
builder Kendall Johnson.

The Wheels Through Time traveling museum will
showcase the nostalgic Harley-Davidson display, and H.O.G. members can take
advantage of the official H.O.G. Pit Stop on location at Rockingham Dragway.
