AMA/Prostar’s seventh of eight
national events is just around the corner, the Schnitz Memphis Blues Nationals
in Memphis, TN, October 1 & 2, 2005. This event at the Mid-South’s
most popular drag racing facility will also include the conclusion of the rained
out Indy event that will take place on Friday, September 30th. The track will
hold a tune & test followed by the completion of the Pingel Thunder Nationals.

Memphis Motorsports Park, a subsidiary
of Dover Motorsports is home to many popular drag racing events, including the
O’Reilly Mid-South Nationals and George Howard’s Million-Dollar

Bringing the Memphis Blues National

The Memphis Blues Nationals will feature Top Fuel as Chris Hand and Jimmy Brantley
battle it out for their quest to be only the fifth person in Prostar’s
seventeen-year history to win the coveted Top Fuel championship. AMA/Prostar
is the only series in the United States that contest Top Fuel motorcycles in
a championship series.

Tune & Test for the event begins
on Friday, September 30th with gate opening at 9:00am and testing from 11:00-4:00pm
with final elimination from Indy beginning at 4:00pm. Pro qualifying action
begins Saturday at Noon with the 240 mph nitro burning Top Fuel motorcycles,
the quickest motorcycles on the planet. Plus Funnybikes, Pro Modifieds, Pro
Stock, Pro Street, Hot Rod Cruiser and SuperSport. AMA/Prostar also features
four additional Sportsman index categories and bracket racing classes.

Prostar will feature legalized street
racing on Saturday night with “Street Chaos”. Members and non-members
can run the streetbike night for two hours for a $100 entry fee, limited to
40 bikes. No announcer, no scoreboards, no rules, run what you brung street
racing in a safe environment. All bikes do require safety inspection.

The action continues on Sunday with
opening ceremonies and final eliminations at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Adults $20 per day; $35 two-day
Juniors: (2-12) $5 each day
Children: (under age 2) Free with paying adult
